This is a plain-language summary of how I handle your information. I'm not a lawyer, so if you need something legally airtight for your situation, it's worth having someone with legal knowledge review it.
1. What I collect
When you use the contact form or run an accessibility scan, I collect what you send me — like your name, email, and message. The site also records some basic technical info automatically, like your IP address and which pages you visit, to keep it running and improve it.
2. How I use it
I use what I collect to:
- Reply to messages you send through the contact form
- Run the tools you ask for, like accessibility scans
- Keep the site working, safe, and a little better over time
3. When you submit a URL for scanning
When you paste a URL into the free scanner, I fetch that page's public HTML to run the checks. I don't keep the page content beyond what's needed to show you the results.
4. Sharing
I don't sell your information. I may share it with the services that help run the site (like hosting and email), and if the law requires it.
5. Keeping your data
I keep contact messages only as long as I need them to reply and keep basic records, then they're deleted or anonymized.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, or delete your information. Just email me and I'll take care of it.
7. Cookies
I only use the cookies needed for the site to work. No third-party advertising cookies.
8. Changes
If I update this page, I'll change the "Last updated" date at the top.
